William Ryder Grubbs arrived as scheduled by C-section on May 9th at 0718. He was much smaller than we expected, at only 5 lbs 10 oz. Ryder met his Daddy first in the recovery room, and had to wait to meet his Mommy until she woke up. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect baby!

We brought Ryder home when he was 2 days old. His Grandpa Grubbs was waiting for us, as were his sisters Cricket and Lilly, the dogs.

Ryder was jaundiced, and had to make a few trips to the pediatrician. He hated getting his heel poked! Thankfully after increasing his feedings over one night, he was cured!

We have enjoyed every minute with Ryder so far. He is such a good baby, and rarely cries. He is a very strong little man, and we expect him to grow fast!
Such a cute boy! Documenting their life in a blog is a great way to keep track of everything! I love going back and looking over the past few months on my blog to see how far we've come. Ryder is so cute, and I can't wait to meet him in person!!
